Dancing on the Ceiling
Remember the turquoise chandelier project? Finn just reminded me he has some time off coming up which means I must. make. plans. Right?
When we put up the chandelier I mentioned that I wanted to add a patterned ceiling to the tiny space. Here’s a view of what we’re working with:
Now I need your help. Which pattern should I put up there? Here are some images I’m thinking about.
I’m leaning towards the chevron. What do you think? Any other suggestions?

I like the first one the best. What color would you use?
Probably the same gray as on the walls.
Do you want it to appear seamless or are you planning on moulding?
seamless.
I think I agree with Karen as the chevrons make me feel like the roof is coming down.( optical thing) The first would fit with other patterns in your house too.
Is Finn going to paint it on??
Well, Finn has responded positively to the idea in the past. We’ll see if he feels the same way when I ask this time. One of us will be painting it on and he’s taller.
I think it will look spectacular. as long as I am not asking my husband to do it :)
I like the chevrons because they give some depth to the ceiling…
